Louise’s advice – the taller you are, the wider the brim you can wear.
- Halos and headbands – for something simpler or for the hat beginner try an easy-to-wear headband featuring textured fabrics from delicate laces, perspex, supple leathers, innovative waterproof paper, crinoline and braid.
- Turbans – for something different a sleek turban is hot this season. Pair with bold accessories to perfect the look.
When choosing your colour palette, this season it is all about subdued pastels from shades of blue, pale, pink lilac, soft grey and silver. White and ivory continue to be popular classic choices whilst orange is the pop colour of the season in shades of tangerine, papaya and pumpkin.
