Caulfield Cup & Cox Plate
Rugby League World Cup
Caulfield Cup Cox Plate
Before the horse racing action moves to Flemington for the Melbourne Cup Carnival, Spring Racing starts at Caulfield. The Caulfield Cup on Saturday 21 October is the second most popular horse racing event in the country behind the iconic Melbourne Cup and the Group 1 race is one of the toughest and richest handicap events in the world.
The following weekend the racing moves to the Moonee Valley Racecourse for the Cox Plate. The Cox Plate is run over a distance of 2040 metres, with $3 million in prize money up for grabs.
For both events, fashion is on display by men and women alike. Get into the racing spirit this Spring Racing Carnival.
