InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto celebrated Lunar New Year as a hotel wide activation with beautiful Chinese inspired florals displayed throughout the lobby, reception, restaurant and bars.
Alluvial Restaurant hosted a traditional Lunar New Year high tea and on New Year’s Day, showcased a year of the pig delicacy for lunch, a Char grilled pork cutlet with Mediterranean spiced grilled romaine, green apple chutney, fennel and walnut rocket salad dressed with plum sauce.
All guests who arrived on Lunar New Year, were personally gifted red envelopes from the front desk team as a traditional gesture to bestow happiness and good fortune.

The hotel celebrates Lunar New Year traditions every year and looks forward to welcoming guests to the hotel over Lunar New Year in 2020 to another beautiful oriental hotel activation.
